What are the responsibilities and job description for the Provider Recruiter position at TotalMed Staffing?
The Role :
With a focus on our Core Values of Integrity, Internally Driven, Fun and Respect, the Provider Recruiter seeks, screens, and hires physicians, CRNAs and advanced practitioners (NP / PA) to practice medicine for hospitals and healthcare practices. This position provides a wide range of support activities with the goal of presenting a professional image on behalf of both providers and our organization.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values and vision of the company.
- Responsible for initial screening of applications and resumes, interviewing candidates, completing reference checks, evaluating candidates and making recommendations for hire.
- High-touch recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of locum tenens providers to appropriately staff customer programs based on patient volume and forecasted staffing needs.
- Communicate with hospital executives, hiring managers and providers to ensure an efficient and effective flow of information during the recruiting and onboarding process which includes pre-employment activities through orientation.
- Provide excellent customer service for all candidates and internal / external partners.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of provider candidates to support business growth through sourcing and engagement.
- Support with the development of full life cycle recruitment processes, procedures, and policies to drive scalability and efficiency.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of each unique customer program.
- Assist in addressing client and candidate concerns.
- May coordinate travel and housing for candidates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment laws.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
