Job Description
The Psychiatric Resource Nurse is responsible for providing expert clinical support to bedside teams caring for high-risk behavioral patients. This includes assessing patient situations, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary BERT team to ensure patient and staff safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing content expertise and education to staff caring for high-risk patients.
- Assisting staff in finding available resources related to behavioral health patients.
- Attending daily rounds with the Consult Psychiatry service and other services as needed.
