Summary:
- CrossMed seeks a travel Radiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon.
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Radiology Technician to join our team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience and be certified in radiologic technology.
The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. They will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of rooms, transporting patients, and performing other duties as assigned.
In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with diverse personnel, including professional and support staff, while maintaining a positive demeanor and professional appearance.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Ability to work in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), push, bend, and pull
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Able to monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transports patients as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
