We are seeking a Registered Nurse-Medical-Surgical for a travel assignment in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Job Description
The successful candidate will work as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg setting, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, and developing individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians and according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Idaho.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg setting.
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule, with 36 hours per week.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
