Job Summary:
The Vice President of Sales - PMO position at TotalTek is accountable for the sales strategy and overseeing all sales operations within TotalTek’s Project Management Office (PMO) Center of Excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of the PMO offerings, strong leadership skills, and experience securing sales with new clients, maintaining existing clients, and managing sales teams. The VP will leverage their extensive business network to expand and sell TotalTek’s PMO expertise and services. The VP will focus on the sales strategy for North America, client classification and industry development for demographic sales success. This role focuses on optimizing sales operations, managing strategic initiatives, partnering with the PMO delivery leader, and aligning with company goals. This position works closely with TotalTek executives, cross functional sales teams, and other departments to align the PMO sales initiatives with the company and department’s overall goals. This role is a vital part of the TotalTek leadership team and will contribute to the company’s growth, profit and business objective by aligning the hiring, training, budgeting, and strategic planning of the PMO sales team to meet department and company goals and metrics.

Essential Leadership & Job Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement the sales strategy for PMO to align with TotalTek goals and opportunities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities or industries to expand sales for PMO services to
- Own the sales process from the start of pipeline discussions to closing deals with various sized clients
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to align sales initiatives with product strategies
- Partner with marketing to align marking campaigns in appropriate PMO markets
- Strategize with PMO delivery leader to align and adjust the PMO sales strategy to the changing market needs and opportunities
- Ensure all sales initiatives are aligned with PMO capabilities to mitigate risk and ensure objectives are met
- Stay updated on the latest PMO trends, to position unique selling opportunities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and grow relationships with high level executives at current and prospective clients
- Understand TotalTek’s clients and their challenges/ needs, to accurately articulate TotalTek’s value proposition strategically, to land and expand TotalTek’s reach
- Act as a trusted partner to each client to ensure customer satisfaction and long term business partnership
- Engage PMO delivery leader to provide subject matter expertise as part of the selling process
- Leadership
- Lead, coach and mentor the PMO sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Develop and communicate sales team performance targets
- Build and maintain an exceptional sales culture that drives an innovative, accountable, engaging and growing team
- Create a culture to continuously improve by encouraging and providing feedback to optimize performance
- Hire, train, and retain the best sales talent that aligns with TotalTek values and culture
- Revenue Growth:
- Outline and manage the sales budgets, set quarterly and annual goals
- Drive consistent revenue growth by managing $5 million plus in revenue annually that develops new business and expands existing accounts
- Oversee the PMO sales forecasting, and budgeting to ensure the department and TotalTek’s goals are met or exceeded
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity and experience within project management best practices and solutions framework and various methodologies
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading various sales teams and creating inclusive team environment
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Experience in sales, revenue, and consulting optimization within PMO services preferred
- Experience outlining and managing sales budgets, setting quarterly and annual goals
- Experience with driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets including cost and risk management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to positively sell services
- Ability to build relationships with various levels of clients
- Manage various complex sales cycles and the ability to close large sales deals
- Excellent sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis skills
- Experience working in industries such as technology, professional services, or consulting
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred)
- 10 years proven experience in sales leadership, with at least 7 years of experience in PMO, technology, IT services or consulting sales
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, market analysis and customer relationship management
- Experience working with CRM systems
- 2 years of experience in consultative selling including services and solutions to large enterprise accounts (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as necessary
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time
- Occasionally move throughout office environment
- Continually observe information/data both on paper and electronically at a close range/distance
- Continually operate computer and other electronic office equipment
- Some travel required as business and sales needs arise
