Location: Select individuals will receive an email invitation with location.
As an Operations Specialist, you will provide clerical support for all Anchorage Teamsters positions operating under a clerical bargaining agreement in departments including but not limited to customer service, terminal operations, and sales.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Train and qualify at multiple clerical positions
- Provide assistance to all Anchorage departments
- Other Duties
- Attach documents
- Run reports as required
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Certifications) –
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree is preferred with four years of experience in the transportation industry.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities –
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent math skills.
- Must be a standout colleague and provide support to the department.
- Multi-task and prioritize with little or no supervision. Ability to work at a high level of accuracy and to anticipate and understand customer needs.
- Knowledge of state and federal bridge regulations and trailing equipment a plus
- Computer literate, with the ability to utilize standard software applications and be proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Work, PowerPoint, and Excel)
