TOTE Resources is seeking a Junior IT Support Analyst to join the team at our Jacksonville, FL office.
In this position you will:
you will be responsible to provide technical support across multiple TOTE business units, assisting end-users with IT issues, troubleshooting hardware and software, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining the integrity of all computers and associated software for TOTE locations. In addition, provide additional service desk support and participate in an on-call off-hours support rotation. This position requires excellent communication, documentation, time management skills, and the ability to work well with a team. Candidates will be expected to show personal initiative and assume primary ownership for these duties
Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Provide first-level IT support to employees across multiple TOTE business units, responding to help desk tickets, emails, and phone inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Support user account management, including password resets, access requests, and system permissions.
- Install, update operating systems and software applications.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices in the IT knowledge base.
- Assist in IT asset tracking and inventory management.
- Provide basic training and guidance to employees on IT tools and best practices.
- Assist the IT team in various areas of technology.
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Certifications) –
- High School diploma required
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or similar are a plus.
- 1 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related role
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities –
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and common enterprise applications.
- Understanding of network fundamentals, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and remote access technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a proactive approach to support.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a shared services environment.
- Ability to think creatively as well as adapt and contribute to changing environments.
- Availability for emergency calls and on call rotation.
