Description
TOTH is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns to join us for the school year and/or the summer at our Springfield, MO office. Power-related internships at TOTH may be based in either our Planning studies, Transmission, or Substation departments.
This is a unique opportunity for highly motivated, innovative, and inspired individuals to work on challenging assignments where contribution, teamwork, and communication are vital to the success of the project. Under the supervision of professional engineers, you will gain knowledge of fundamental engineering processes, construction methods, and permitting to carry-out the concurrent planning, design, production, and construction of our client projects.
Qualifications
The ideal intern is:
- Pursuing a BSCE, BSME, or BSEE from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- Planning to obtain EIT certification
- Pro-active, enthusiastic, self-starter with a good attitude, and a drive to learn
- Strong in organization and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment including clients and colleagues at all levels
- Committed to quality and accuracy
- Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills
