JOB TITLE: Production General Assistant

SUMMARY:
Provides variety of administrative support to Assistant Manager, Plant Manager, Director of Operations and other members of the Plant Staff as appropriate
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Devises, sets up, types, proofreads and corrects variety of material utilizing PC based system
- Prepares correspondence and recurring reports, with some direction and posts reports as necessary
- Establishes files and maintains current records
- Collects and distributes mail, reconciles inventory for designated areas, and maintains and updates daily, monthly, and annual operating reports
- Receives and distributes messages
- Maintains information from vendors to include but not limited to proof of insurance
- Maintains different files associated with inventory
- Operates all office machines and duplication equipment
- Orders office supplies and materials
- Arranges for meetings and conferences as needed
- Serves as backup to Planning and Reception
- Maintains daily contact with various departments of the company communicating required information
- Maintains frequent contact with vendors, and suppliers as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Skilled in typing, spelling, and grammar and (6) months of applicable general clerical experience
- Must also be detailed oriented, and multi-tasked.
