What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler/Two's Teacher position at Tots & Blocks?
Tots & Blocks in Old Bridge is looking for a Lead Toddler Teacher to work in classrooms.
As a Lead Teacher some of your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that all students enjoy a safe, sanitary and enjoyable learning environment.
- Must follow the daily schedule and plans as per the teacher instructions.
- maintaining their own bulletin board every month.
- Maintain neat and professional attire.
- Supervise age appropriate activities.
- Supervise children: monitor, direct, protect, encourage, and nurture children.
- Must attend mandatory staff meetings, required trainings, and continuing education.
- Must become CPR and First Aid certified.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe and attractive classroom environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children.
- Must complete the required training hours within the timeframe given.
- Must write and maintain records of accident and incident that occur.
- Must meet all applicable licensing regulations.
- Must instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
- Must change diapers if needed while following diaper changing procedures as well as assist in potty training procedures.
- Must complete the cleaning checklist prior to leaving at the end of their shift.
