Job Description :
Toucan Gaming is a seeking a Sales and Relationship Manager for our New Orleans, LA Service Center. As a growing Video Poker route operator, our company is seeking support from a single individual. The Sales Representative will be responsible for remaining the primary point of contact for route customers and must maintain communication and provide the solutions they are looking for in a timely manner. This role demands you gain in-depth knowledge of our products and services as well as customer retention techniques to ensure ultimate satisfaction.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintains a high quality of service according to Toucan Gaming’s core values.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions.
- Establishes new markets and customer leads for three machine locations.
- Pitches prospective customers & develops and manages necessary sales support materials.
- Facilitates contract negotiation, execution and renewal.
- Provides licensing support to new and existing customers seeking assistance from the Director of Compliance as needed.
- Schedules regular visits for the purpose of retention and revenue growth; Ongoing relationship and contract management; troubleshoots issues with the customer
- Identify Tiki Bar locations for startups/fold ins
- Maintain a current and advanced understanding of gaming equipment and performance trends
- Work with the Director of Gaming to complete Site Surveys for outfitting new route locations (décor, game mix, machine & amusement placement, etc).
- Collaborate with marketing team to plan customized on-site marketing materials for establishments
- Maintain a positive working relationship with Slot Techs and act as the liaison between the customer and Slot Operations team when trouble shooting relationship based or service issues.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Skills, Education and Other Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a similar field, four to six years of direct sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Should additionally have a thorough working knowledge of the gaming industry.
- Ability to work with others and independently.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and closing skills.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to effectively resolve problems based on common-sense use of reasoning ability, as well as knowledge of established company policies.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence; respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions form the group of managers, clients, customers, and general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficient use of Computer, phone, iPad/tablet, fax, copier and 10-Key calculator, Basic PC skills, specifically Microsoft Office products.
- Frequent travel is required for this position.

Compensation: This is a commission based position.
