We are seeking a Shipping Lead to join a client's growing team in Southern Indiana.
Duties
- Assist supervisors with daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Help oversee the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Implement best practices in materials handling to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of shipping associates, fostering a positive work environment.
- Monitor performance metrics related to shipping accuracy, timeliness, and team productivity.
- Troubleshoot any issues during the shipping process and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent job tenure
- At least three or more years of shipping experience
- Excellent team management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Job Details:
- Shift Time & Days - 4 PM to 12 AM M-F
- Pay - $20/hr to $22/hr based on experience
