What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Coordinator position at Touching Families, Inc.?
Job Summary
- Engage families with services by conducting home visits and providing case management services.
- Identify community resources to support the needs of families.
- Facilitate meetings to develop family goals and plans.
- Prepare and complete case notes, reports, and other written materials.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with Allegheny County Children, Youth and Family Services and other community provider organizations.
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field with 1-year direct service experience working with children and families.
- Act 33, 34, and FBI clearances required
- Reliable vehicle, valid PA driver's license with excellent driving record, insurance and registration required
- Computer applications related to the work including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ability to meet documentation deadlines
- Salary: Commensurate with experience
