OVER NIGHT CARGIVER NEEDED IMMEDIATELY

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with specific needs such as dementia or memory care.

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Support clients with memory care techniques to enhance cognitive function.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs for appointments or social outings.
• Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dementia care and memory care techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of resident rights and ethical caregiving practices.
• Ability to perform CPR and first aid as needed; certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Pay: $13.75 - $21.00 per hour

• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
