Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Daily Living: Help clients with essential daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared-for.
- Provide Companionship & Emotional Support: Build meaningful relationships by offering companionship, encouragement, and a positive environment to promote mental well-being.
- Mobility Assistance: Safely assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring, while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment: Keep clients’ living spaces clean, organized, and safe, promoting a healthy environment at all times.
- Document & Communicate Care: Accurately document the care provided and promptly report any changes in a client's condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage in Social Activities: Encourage participation in social, recreational, and mentally stimulating activities to enhance overall well-being.
- Collaborate for Comprehensive Care: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and the best possible outcomes for your clients.
Requirements:
- Experience in Caregiving: Prior experience in caregiving, nursing home settings, or senior care is preferred but not required.
- Empathy & Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families are essential.
- Genuine Compassion: A compassionate, patient nature and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others is at the heart of this role.
- Physical Ability: Ability to assist with lifting and mobility tasks while ensuring the safety and well-being of the client.
- Patient Care Knowledge: Basic knowledge of patient care principles and practices is beneficial.
- CPR/First Aid Certification: While certification is preferred, it is not required. Training will be provided if needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
