What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Companion for Elderly position at Touching Hearts at Home?
Touching Hearts at Home has an immediate opening for a caregiver who can serve our clients in the Somerset area.
We provide non-medical, supportive home care to our elderly clients in their homes. Services include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, laundry/linens, and transportation to appointments and errands.
Open position:
We provide non-medical, supportive home care to our elderly clients in their homes. Services include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, laundry/linens, and transportation to appointments and errands.
Open position:
- Providing Respite for a gentleman in his home. May need some assistance when getting up and off chairs, and toilet, and probably on standby to assist with transferring.
- Day time hours: Tues/Wed/Friday 12 to 5pm Play games, lunch, make sure he takes his meds, transportation in his van, standby assist while he is walking.
- Overnight hours: Sun/Monday/Wed can be 9pm to 8am or 8pm to 8am. Get him ready for bed, get up with him during the night and bring him is urinal, and get him ready in the morning.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be reliable and compassionate.
- The starting wage is 18 dollars an hour.
- Must pass a caregiver background check
