Location: Avalon, NJ
Hours: Up to 18 hours per day (Day and Night Shifts Available)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a heart for helping others? Touching Hearts at Home is seeking a dependable and caring caregiver to join our team in Avalon, NJ. We are looking for someone who has a passion for providing exceptional care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Help with light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, etc.).
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity.
- Provide care during both day and night shifts (night shift caregivers may sleep during shifts with some responsibility for monitoring).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Qualifications:
- Must be a CHHA
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
- Compassionate and reliable with a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
- Must be able to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home.
Shift Details:
- Day Shifts: Full availability during the day with up to 18 hours of work.
- Night Shifts: Sleep shifts available for those working overnight hours, with minimal monitoring responsibility.
