We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their own homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being.
- Monitor client health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying clients to appointments or social activities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Engage clients in social activities or hobbies that promote mental stimulation and emotional health.
Experience
- Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with direct support services and patient monitoring techniques is beneficial.
- A background in nursing or healthcare is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential for success in this role.
