What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Chef position at Touchmark?
Touchmark on West Century is Bismarck's exclusive resort-style retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as an Executive Chef.
Realizing how the entire dining experience accentuates the lives of residents, you will be the driving force in ensuring that every dining experience is safe, healthy, and extraordinary, every time.
This position requires both a blend of culinary skills and creativity, along with a desire to educate and lead the rest of the kitchen staff.
The ideal candidate will:
Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have a certificate or degree in culinary arts or a related field, this is not a requirement.
Have at least three years’ experience as a food services director, manager, or chef with leadership responsibilities.
Manage all back of house staff in kitchen, including ongoing training & development.
Achieve or exceed budgeted labor and other costs through proper planning and execution.
Assist in ordering of food and supplies.
Possess or be willing to obtain a valid food handler’s card, and First Aid/CPR certification.
Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays.
Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members.
