Position & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration preferred, business administration or related field, or 2 years of experience managing a Home Care department or other industry like business.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word;
- Ability to deal tactfully with team members, clients, family members, visitors, state agency personnel, and the general public;
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation;
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems, and prior experience working in scheduling and billing software(s).
- Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity).
- Communicate with patience, tact, positivity, confidentiality (HIPPA), transparency and honesty, and professional boundaries to residents, family members, volunteers, visitors, physicians, team members and the general public.
- Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
- Coordinate services with other community health care providers
- Ensure the provision of safe and appropriate services in accordance with written service plans and that care assignments are based on the caregiver’s abilities, skills, and competence
