What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Services Coordinator position at Touchmark?
Touchmark is Edmond’s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Health Services Staffing Coordinator – Scheduler!
This person will be responsible for creating the Health Services schedule, handling any/all schedule issues for our Health Services team including, but not limited to call-ins and finding replacements for shift coverage. This person will attend scheduled in-services and staff meetings, train new Health Services team members, and perform all other duties as assigned.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
CNA/CMA preferred but not required
Possess strong critical thinking skills
Be able to work in a busy environment, with frequent changes and interruptions
Have the ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing, deadlines and work under pressure
Have prior administrative experience (not required, but helpful)
Possess excellent computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and Outlook
Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification or provide current certification
Have at least one-year experience as a Med Aide
Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
