What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse Assisted Living position at Touchmark?
Pay starting at $29.00 per hour
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Touchmark, you will have the daily opportunity to make a positive difference in someone else’s life! By taking on responsibilities such as working closely with the caregiving and medication aide staff; administering medications and performing treatments per physician’s orders as needed; assisting the care team and the Life Enrichment team with activities; answering calls; processing orders; educating family members and care staff; assisting with resident ADLs and working with the care team to develop resident care plans, you will ensure that each resident receives the highest level of care and attention.
You will be required to work one weekend shift plus holidays as scheduled. No overnight shifts nor overnight on call is required!
The ideal candidate will:

Have graduated from an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses and be currently licensed in the state of Idaho
Be willing to provide assistance to medication aides and caregivers when needed
Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
Be proficient with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff and visitors
