Touchmark on South Hill is searching for a dependable and compassionate Resident Care Manager for our admissions team. • Have completion of a Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited school of nursing• Possess a current RN/LPN license in the state of Washington• Align with Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers • Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment• Have the ability to plan, direct, and implement goals of the department• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality• Have the ability to evaluate effectiveness in the care plan• Have the ability to educate, counsel, supervise, evaluate, and discipline resident care team • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
Responsibilities:
Coordinate admissions with residents and family members in a smooth and efficient manner.
Communicate effectively with DNS and team members to provide quality care to all new residents.
Complete and organize all necessary documentation accurately and timely. (Including charting)
Maintains confidentiality of patient information and displays professionalism with team members/residents.
Help foster a respectful and caring work environment in building a positive work culture for the community.
Work closely with DNS to collaborate on scheduling to optimize resident care.
Evaluate and assess care plans upon resident admission.
Lead and mentor staff by continuing education and performance feedback to set timely and achievable goals.
Essential Functions:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Must be able to complete required paperwork and filing with high level of detail and accuracy
Ability to observe resident behavior and communicate observations in a professional and intelligent manner
Must be able to operate standard business equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, and telephones with appropriate training
Must have comprehensive understanding of state residential care licensure and regulations
Salary : $45 - $55
