Skilled Nursing Development/Infection Control

Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00AM - 6:00PM or 11:00AM - 7:00PM As the Skilled Nursing Admissions Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that every new patient has a well-organized and positive transition into our Skilled Nursing Community.   You will develop and cultivate good relationships with discharge planners of our referral sources.  You will review medical documentation to confirm our ability to care for potential patients and work with our billing coordinator to verify insurance eligibility and receive pre-authorization for admission as needed.    Requirements: A commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers- An LPN or RN license- At least two years' experience in an administrative role- Availability to work weekends and/or flexible hours- Experience working with seniors is preferred  - Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a genuine interest in working with a senior population IND600
