Food Unit Lead Position
We are seeking a Food Unit Lead to coordinate activities of other food-service employees and create an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
- Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control.
- Help plan menus and respond to customer complaints in person or via email.
- Assign and coordinate work of employees to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
- Use proper systems for completion of required reports such as inventory-cash reports-production records, payroll, and time-keeping.
- Ensure proper cash handling as established by the Food Accounting Manual.
- Order food and other necessary supplies from approved sources or purveyors.
- Maintain the overall sanitation and safety of the facility and employees in accordance with company standards and government regulations.
