Nursing and Transport Scheduler
Summary :
T his position is responsible for the nursing staff scheduling and scheduling transportation appointments for residents.
Responsibilities :
Must perform all assigned tasks in accordance with the Facility’s established policies and procedures and as instructed by the DNS, and / or Administrator or as directed by supervisory staff.
This position ensures and manages the Nursing schedule through the use of the scheduling software system.
This position will call employees to fill vacancies, leaves, and vacations in order to keep staffing levels within budgetary requirements.
This position will also contact and manage transportation schedules for resident medical appointments.
Qualifications :
- Must possess a high school degree, or its equivalent.
- Prefer working knowledge (experience preferred) with various software programs such as WORD, EXCEL, as well as electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
