Runner/Busser

Experience And Tenure With The Company

This is a Part Time Position.

Job Summary

• Delivers food orders to tables
• Clears and cleans tables
• Maintains proper table alignment and setup
• Periodically sweeps floor, inside and out
• Stocks glassware, silverware, plates
• Frequently cleans the restroom
• Frequently monitors and empties all trash cans in pub and beer garden
• Cleans all dishes in a timely and organized manner
• Restocks clean dishes in all areas of pub
• Follows proper closing procedures to keep clean and organized store
• Provides customers with a pleasant experience when interacting with them
• Is punctual and maintains a good attendance record
• Is professional on all levels while clocked in or on company premises.
• Communicates to management when there is an issue, whether it is personal or work related.

• Constant standing/walking
• Occasional stooping, kneeling or crawling
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps.
• Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around bar area
  
  

Brewery and Pub Specific

• There is an expectation that all Touchstone employees’ drinking at the Brewery/Pub will do so in moderation, not drinking to excess or be visibly drunk at any time, this includes off the clock as well.
• Brewery/Pub staff need to be able to describe the taste elements of its beers to customers. Therefore employees are encouraged to taste new beers, discuss the notes and elements with the brewers and pub manager so they may develop a palate for this process and the language to be able to adequately describe the beers to customers.
• Do not ask staff for extended discounts or special deals on food and beverages/ beer for your friends and family.
• Do not go behind the taproom counter/ bar when you are off the clock.
• Do not serve beer or food when off the clock.
  
  

Pay Scale

Touchstone Brewing is a tipless establishment, and starting pay is $20 an hour.
