Touchstone Living is the largest Nevada-based home builder and continues to grow. We develop neighborhoods for the first-time buyer and demand is strong, even in today’s challenging market. As Las Vegas’ only local home builder solely focused on the underserved first-time buyer market, we have tremendous business opportunities while also being a positive influence in our local community. In 2024 we sold 440 homes to first-time buyers and have over 3,0000 future homes planned in our existing neighborhoods. We are also preparing to expand into the Reno market and anticipate starting up there later this year.
Today we are looking for our next Director of Sales. This person will lead our new home sales team and manage our internal sales processes. Our neighborhoods and our processes are unique to Las Vegas, and it shows in our results. We consistently lead the market in sales per community and are recognized as one of the highest velocity sellers in the country. Our process is simple and easy for our customers to understand, and requires a focus and commitment to serving the first-time home buyer. It is not the typical new home sales process. Candidates with management experience in existing home sales are strongly encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will have proven training/coaching and recruitment skills, and thrive in a high volume, structured environment. The Director of Sales will be integral to this new market expansion. The sales model used in Las Vegas will be duplicated elsewhere with all locations under the Director’s umbrella.
The position reports directly to the president and owner of the company, and will work closely with our construction, marketing and accounting departments. DIRECTOR OF SALES JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director is responsible for all sales office operations including the recruitment, training, performance measurement, recognition, and discipline of our real estate agent team and support staff. Passion for teaching and customer service are vital. Administratively, the Director is responsible for all regulatory compliance, contract administration, escrow management, and mortgage tracking.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in the following areas:
· Training/Coaching
· Recruitment and team building.
· First-time home buyer sales with high customer satisfaction.
· High volume sales environments.
· Operational (process) adherence and management.
· New home sales and management experience NOT required.
Knowledge/Certification Requirements
· Nevada Real Estate License. Brokers license preferred but not required. Must meet the requirements to become a broker.
· Experience and understanding of governmental (FHA, VA, etc.) mortgage programs specifically and mortgage finance in general.
· Understanding of Nevada real estate and title transfer law with respect to home sales.
