Starting Pay: $22.00 an hour
We are hiring Mental Health Practitioners (MHP's) for our programs in South Minneapolis and Bloomington. Shifts available are every weekend day or evenings, every other weekend evenings and Saturday/Sunday overnights.
- Mental Health Practitioner - Two Rivers (South Minneapolis) - Every weekend or E/O weekend 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Mental Health Practitioner - Two Rivers (South Minneapolis) - Every weekend 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Mental Health Practitioner - Two Rivers (South Minneapolis) - Overnights Fri-Sun 10:30pm-8:30am
- Mental Health Practitioner - Portland Place (Bloomington) – On-Call, 2 shifts required per month
TMH’s Mental Health Practitioners (MHP’s) provide support to clients in our Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) programs.
Mental Health Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Establish supportive and motivational relationships with residents
- Coach residents to utilize coping strategies and de-escalate crises
- Administer medications to residents
- Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents
- Support the cleanliness of common areas
- Ensure residents follow safety guidelines
- Collaborate with other staff members and interns
Mental Health Practitioner Requirements:
- Must have one to two years of experience, education, or combination in behavioral health, social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, or related area
- Must meet definition of Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker or Mental Health Practitioner per Department of Human Services licensing requirements
