Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Assistant Community Manager for our property in Greeneville, TN. The successful candidate will support the Community Manager in overseeing daily property operations, enhancing tenant satisfaction, and achieving financial goals. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the continued success of the property while providing excellent customer service to current and potential tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Touchstone Property Management, its employees, and tenants in a professional, courteous, and effective manner at all times.
- Assist the Community Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Market and attract new tenants by promoting the community, offering tours, and providing excellent customer service.
- Inspect the community grounds and community-owned homes to ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Report any unusual activity or areas in need of improvement.
- Ensure rent collections are completed efficiently.
- Enforce community rules, regulations, and lease agreements, ensuring compliance from tenants and addressing issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, responding to their concerns and resolving issues as needed.
- Assist with planning and coordinating community events to build tenant engagement and pride.
- Manage office duties including filing, organizing, and documenting property-related activities.
- Perform daily computer work, including use of property management and accounting software (Rent Manager) and general administrative tasks.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including digital content creation and social media presence.
- Other duties as assigned by the Community Manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufactured or affordable housing is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong customer service skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, and organization.
- Experience in marketing, leasing, and sales, with a proven track record of meeting property leasing goals is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management, leadership, and follow-through skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, etc.).
