Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a dynamic powder coating facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to assembly, fabrication, sand blasting and general labor within a factory or warehouse setting. This role requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate hand and power tools effectively.
Duties
- Assemble components and products on the assembly line according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed to transport materials within the facility.
- Fabricate parts using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials from trucks or storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility, factory, or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is advantageous.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as required.
