Overview
Sonography Adjuncts will provide didactic instruction to students in Touro’s Medical Imaging Program.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience.
- Develop course objectives, lesson plans, and curriculum.
- Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to JRDMS curriculum.
- Instruct and evaluate students and report progress.
- Cooperate and participate in periodic review and revision of course material and program materials.
- Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
- Graduate of a Sonography program with Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a sonographer required.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Familiarity with JRDMS standards on education in sonography preferred.
