Touro College of Dental Medicine invites applications for adjunct academic or clinical positions in general dentistry.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities may include predoctoral, preclinical, didactic and laboratory instruction, clinical supervision of patient care in the comprehensive care programs, teaching associated administrative responsibilities, committee membership, and scholarly activity.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery/Doctor of Medical Dentistry from a CODA-accredited dental school or equivalent required
- CPR Certification and Dental License Registration required
Certificate of training from an ADA-accredited AEGD or GPR program or other advanced degrees and previous teaching experience.
NYS Dental License required
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- General administrative duties required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook required
- A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement, and discretion required
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students faculty and colleagues required
- Exceptional analytical problem solving skills, collaboration, and matrix management skills required
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required
- Ability to use Zoom software
