Overview
The Faculty Services and CLE Coordinator assists faculty members with secretarial and administrative support tasks and is also responsible for coordinating all aspects of CLE programs, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid CLE events. The Coordinator may also be asked to assist other administrative offices within the Law Center.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to faculty by providing reception services, scheduling appointments and meetings, filing, preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested by faculty members.
- Assists faculty by answering questions and providing information, locating information and materials, typing, collating, proofreading manuscripts, correspondence or other documents as required.
- Assists students in answering questions, handing out and collecting assignments, assessments and exams.
- Assists faculty with course preparation and maintenance, including typing, proofreading, collating, printing, and posting on LMS, as needed, seating and attendance charts, syllabi, assessments, midterms, final exams, and class handouts.
- Assists exam administration by proctoring and processing exams.
- Provides administrative support with the Externship, Court Observation, and Pro Bono Scholars Programs.
- Coordinates, supervises and oversees compliance for the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program at the Law School.
- Coordinates CLE programing, working directly with faculty, staff and speakers on program details and materials.
- Some events may require attendance on some early mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Coordinates with the Office of Institutional Advancement, Office of Communications and Marketing and Office of Information Technology on CLE eblasts, promotional materials, event registration pages, and in person or virtual event needs.
- Distributes and maintains records for all CLE certificates.
- Assists the Institutional Advancement Office at events, conferences, etc.
- Miscellaneous mailings.
- Assists other administrative offices when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience as an administrative assistant preferred
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook
- Knowledge or Raiser’s Edge a plus Knowledge of Canvas a plus
Travel
- Occasional travel to NYC for events/CLE programs
Physical Demands
- Extensive Use of Computers
- Extensive time sitting and standing
- Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
Maximum Salary
USD $58,003.00/Yr.Minimum Salary
