Kitchen Assistant: Cake (Looking for someone who can work sunday)
Tous Les Jours, New Haven location is looking for a candidate to join our Korean-French fusion bakery and cafe.
This position will be responsible for assisting the Cake Decorator prepare a variety of cakes and help ensure each product is presented in a timely fashion while maintaining the quality standard. We are a fast based kitchen that requires a candidate who can focus and work in an organized environment. A successful candidate will be given the opportunity to advance and learn various pastry and cake decorating skills.
- Position reports to: Cake Manager & Kitchen Master
Job Responsibility:
- Produce and decorate various cakes and other goods daily
- Package, price and display items
- Receive weekly shipments
- Keep a clean work environment
- Follow directions and orders to maintain an organized workflow
- Report to and communicate with the cake manager

- Has the willingness to learn and improve with an open attitude
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude in a work environment
- Possession of basic kitchen skills such as knife handling and washing fruit
