Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Golf Course Grounds individual to join our team at The Towanda Golf Club. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are well-groomed and inviting for our guests. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and landscaping tasks to keep the grounds in excellent condition.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various maintenance projects. Must be able to left 50 lbs.
- Would work in all aspects of the course maintenance including mowing, bunker projects, tree work etc..
- Assist with irrigation systems to ensure proper watering
- Work in all elements - must have proper attire for cold/chilly mornings and hot afternoons.
- Knowledge in small engine operation and irrigation piping is a plus.
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning and seasonal planting.
- Monitor the condition of outdoor facilities and report any issues or repairs needed.
- Must be a team player.
- Past golf course experience is a plus but willing to teach the right candidate.
- Needs to be reliable!
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment operations. Mowing units etc...
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
