Dealership Vehicle Buyer

World famous TOWBIN DODGE located in HENDERSON, NV is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Towbin Auto Group team as a Buyer. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of vehicles for all locations. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients, negotiating contracts and terms of agreements
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine material requirements and develop procurement strategies
• Utilize Oracle EBS or other procurement systems to create purchase orders and track order status
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Implement cost-saving initiatives through effective supplier management and negotiation
• Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other relevant regulations
• Collaborate with the Materials Management team to optimize inventory levels

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in the automotive field
• Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and processes
• Strong multi platform vehicle knowledge
• Proficiency in various social media marketing platforms; FaceBook, Instagram, Offerup, etc..
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other relevant regulations
• Experience in production planning is a plus
