Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification to verify legal drinking age - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register - Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food orders Experience: - Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting - Knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages - Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software - Strong math skills for accurately calculating bills and making change - Understanding of food handling procedures and safety protocols in the food industry - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously - Ability to provide efficient and friendly service in a fast-paced environment - Experience in catering or event bartending is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
