POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for building customer relationships, overseeing multiple concurrent projects, and optimizing project performance. Primary responsibilities include project planning & delivery, from project mobilization through to successful close-out, ensuring that customer requirements are met, along with quality, safety, budget & timeline.
This role interfaces and works directly with Construction Managers and crews, project controls team, finance, customers, and company management. This is a key role that contributes to TCE's reputation and growth by ensuring quality delivery, customer satisfaction and safe, engaged crews.
Project Managers are responsible for overseeing the profitable delivery of $3.5m to $4m per year in telecommunications construction project revenue, whilst delivering strong performance across non-financial metrics in the areas of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties :
As a Project Manager the duties include, but are not limited to the following :
- Establish TCE presence in industry through developing new customer relationships, and strengthening existing customer relationships
- Driving new business development through strong project delivery (e.g. more work from existing customers) and leveraging networks for new projects (e.g. new projects / new customers / new geographies)
- Manage assigned projects from mobilization through to close out (e.g. project set up, recruiting crews, allocating resources, ensuring scope is understood and delivered efficiently & safely, quality control, customer relationship management, budget management, close out package review & sign-off etc. )
- Proactively identify risks, develop plans to mitigate risks, and implement solutions
- Retain, engage, and develop CMs, Crew Leads and Tower Technicians through coaching, performance management, and effective conflict resolution
- Direct and oversee Construction Manager performance and delivery, including site visits as required
- Improve and maintain quality according to requirements and specifications while promoting a continuous improvement mindset
- Complete accurately and on time daily reports, timesheets, expense reports, and close out process documents
- Ensure all safety regulations and standards are followed, including conducting safety inspections & audits and taking corrective measures as necessary
- Investigate and report all accidents / incidents to management and safety department; suggest and implement corrective actions

Physical Setting : Hybrid office, warehouse & construction site work - on the road as needed
Schedule : Monday to Friday; Weekends as needed
