Job Summary
Qualifications
- The Communication Coordinator assists the Transfer Center nurse in the management and through put of patients into, out of, and within the Tower Heath, Health System. This includes but is not limited to assistance with patient placement, direct admissions, transfers, and referrals.
- The Transfer Center Communication Coordinator also performs EMS call intake, performs emergency medical dispatch triage, dispatches TowerDIRECT EMS and wheelchair units and outsources transport requests that are not being handled by TowerDIRECT units.

- 2 year/Associate Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate's Degree
Experience
- Relevant Experience
Certification and Licensure
- National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 700, 800, 100, & 200 within 6 months of hire
- BLS Certification
