What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exercise Physiologist - Full Time - Day Shift position at Tower Health?
Perform inpatient & outpatient exercise stress test, initiate billing, type reports and interpretation of testing, aid in the training of fellows & students, assists in research projects, collects statistical data & as needed. Also, Manage the Device lab (held within the exercise stress lab), interrogate inpatients and outpatients as requested by cardiologist and interpret the report. Manage outside telemetry for patients with Devices through Carelink and Latitude programs provided by vendors. Follow-up with patients and schedule needed visits as requested by cardiologist also assists with any follow-up concerns between visits. Manage POTS clinic and communicate with patients to see how program progresses. Provides exercise prescription to patients and assists with any follow-up concerns between visits. Maintain all equipment and make recommendation for additional or replacement equipment needed for all three clinics.
