Responsibilities :
The HR Compliance Specialist will support Phoenixville Hospital and Pottstown Hospital markets. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all new hires and transfers are onboarded in a positive, timely and consistent manner while ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal AND State Laws as well as the HR Standards regulated by The Joint Commission, Dept of Health, the Commission on Accredited Rehab Facilities and IdentoGo vendor requirements. This includes managing all new hire and transfer data in the applicant tracking system, as well as the systems utilized to conduct all background checks. The HR Compliance Specialist monitors progress during onboarding process ensuring timelines are met to ensure successful start. Reviews all background check results and other onboarding requirements in detail and informs leadership when results are not in compliance with the laws and regulations that we must adhere to as a Healthcare employer. Attends and presents employee files during audits. The HR Compliance Specialist also assists and facilitates new hire orientation interfacing with multiple members of leadership. Core job responsibilities are time sensitive and highly confidential requiring the clearing of 15-70 new hires / transfers / contractors bi-weekly. The HR Compliance Specialist participates in the renewal of CPSL clearances throughout the year that are due to expire. This position reports to the System Director, Onboarding, and Compliance.

- 4 year Bachelor's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
