What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Coordinator position at Tower Health?
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, screening, training, maintaining and evaluating volunteers.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring volunteers complete the orientation process and meet all compliance standards.
- Recruit volunteers as directed and in the absence of senior leadership interviews volunteer applicants to assess them, discuss current opportunities and assign them to appropriate positions.
- Coordinates volunteer processes in cooperation with Leadership by maintaining service guides and Volgistics, handling schedule changes, absence, LOA reporting, annual re-educations, and annual evaluations.
- Maintains volunteer space by keeping room neat, stocking supplies, and scheduling.
- Assists in other departments and events as needed, answers incoming office calls.
