The Product Analyst maintains strong knowledge of property insurance products, systems and pricing as they collaborate with multiple business functions to help design and build new product offerings, while assisting with managing existing product in assigned states and lines of business. This position communicates with multiple audiences including system development teams, insurance producers, various levels of management, and state insurance departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct market analysis, including competitor rate comparisons.
- Recommend coverage offerings.
- Develop forms and rates & communicate related business requirements.
- Assist in development of marketing material.
- Prepare and analyze policy data and perform “what-if” rating scenarios.
- Participate in System design.
- Complete User Acceptance Testing scenarios.
- Conduct profitability studies.
- Participate in the filing process, including handling objections and interfacing with state departments of insurance.
- Support ownership of profit and loss in assigned states, or in assigned lines of business.
- Assist with the development of new products and services.
- Support the product lifecycle by analyzing data to inform decisions on product modifications, launches, and exits.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on product offerings and pricing models.
- Analyze policyholder data to understand risk profiles, claim patterns, and customer behaviors to optimize product offerings.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders on product strategy and pricing.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant product/pricing experience preferred.

Valid Driver’s License required.

Preferred work arrangement hybrid on-site, but remote candidates will be considered based on qualifications and experience.
