Legal Data Entry Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates and paralegals to work with a leading national telecommunications company.

As a Temporary Consultant, you will be responsible for data entry of legal processes into the client's workflow management system, answering high volume calls, and distributing voicemail messages.

You must be able to maintain confidentiality, have strong attention to detail, work independently, utilize sound judgment, and problem-solve.

The position is a long-term temp role expected to start immediately. You will work 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime when available. Shifts may vary, including overnight work and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with law enforcement in regard to life-threatening situations by answering calls, authenticating the caller, and providing law enforcement with customer records.
• Ensure all cases are correctly documented and managed end-to-end in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures.
• Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits by following policies and procedures.
• Compile, verify, and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.
• Resolve deficiencies using standard procedures or return incomplete documents to the team lead/supervisor for resolution.
• An understanding of basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures is required.

Requirements:

Any legal background, education, or experience is preferred.

You must be able to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.

Timely arrival to work is essential.

Proficient typing and transcription skills are required.

Strong computer and technical skills are necessary.

Administrative skills, such as copying, filing, sorting, and mail distribution, are also required.

Organizational and time management abilities are essential.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are required.

You must be committed to working as part of a team.
