Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Associate

Department: Facilities

Reports to: General Manager

Hourly Rate: $22

Key Responsibilities:

• Routines
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on office equipment, HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and general building infrastructure
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment, shelving, and inventory storage areas to ensure safety and functionality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of both office spaces and warehouse areas
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical issues within the facility
  
  

• Compliance
• Ensure that all office and warehouse spaces are compliant with safety regulations and health standards
• Coordinate with external contractors or service providers for larger repair or maintenance projects
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment required for routine maintenance
  
  

• Communication and Assistance
• Assist with setting up and maintaining workspaces, including office furniture, equipment installations, and ergonomic arrangements
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with facility-related projects, including renovation or reorganization efforts, as needed
  

General Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unpredictable situations
• Handle interacting with various team members on a daily basis
• Experience in building or facilities maintenance is preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must have an active driver’s license and be approved on the company’s insurance
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle repair
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed
  
  

Benefits:

• Medical, dental, and vision benefits are provided through Thatch’s ICHRA, starting on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment
• Paid time off is accrued weekly from the first week of work but cannot be used until after completing 90 days of employment. Eligible employees are required to provide ample notice and get HR/Managerial approval prior to using paid vacations
• $40 personal phone reimbursement eligibility depending on position will be issued monthly

• Dialpad; for making outward calls or receiving inward calls based on department
• Microsoft teams; for internal communication between employees
  
  

Technology:

• Stay updated on technological advancements and utilize company tools and resources effectively
• Preferred general knowledge on all Microsoft Applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• General Knowledge of the Uber Application, and its functions
• General to Proficient knowledge of ADP depending on job position
• Be able to quickly learn new apps, software, and dashboards adopted and used within the company
• Abide by the company’s cybersecurity policies

• Adhere to Tower’s policies and procedures as indicated in the Employee Handbook
• Work in a safe and effective manner
• Perform duties as workload necessitates
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude
• Communicate regularly with team members or higher management about work related topics depending on the issues
• Demonstrate efficient time management skills
• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Meet applicable productivity standards
• Complete all other duties as assigned by TowerMobility
