Location: Weston, Massachusetts

Structure: Onsite (5 days/week)

Through our closed-loop anaerobic digestion process, we convert organic waste and cow manure into green electricity or renewable natural gas, along with nutrient-rich byproducts.

The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading the procurement department, ensuring the effective management of procurement processes, and driving strategic decision-making for the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the procurement department, including Procurement Associates and Procurement Senior Associates
• Develop, implement, and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and strategies
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
• Identify potential liabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department and across the organization
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Prepare and present procurement reports and analysis to senior management
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are a plus
• Proven experience managing a team
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to make strategic decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with procurement software, Microsoft suite, Procore, Oracle, Intranet, and Bluebeam
