Tower is offering a $1000 Signing/Retaining bonus as of 1/20/2025.
Hours: 40 hour work week Monday through Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, Friday 8:30am -6:30pm, Saturday 8:30am-1:30pm.Work every other Saturday with a day off during the week if working saturday.
Hiring Range - $95,409.60 to $143,104.00 USD
The Floating Branch Manager II fills in at branches where there is a vacant Branch Manager and we need leadership/supervisor support for the branch team. The Floating Branch Manager II is responsible for branch sales, service and operations at branches where they are working for a day or an extended period. This position provides leadership and coaching to ensure a well-trained team is focused on meeting members’ financial needs. The Floating Branch Manager II is responsible for ensuring employees follow all Tower procedures as well as provide a high level of member service on the day they are covering a branch. This position ensures that these services are in compliance with State and Federal regulations and TFCU policies and procedures. This position reports to the District Manager. On the day the Floating Branch Manage II is covering a branch, positions reporting to him/her are the Assistant Branch Manager, Senior Member Service Representatives, Teller Supervisor, Member Service Representative, Teller and Branch Representatives.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Provides team members with daily coaching and guidance to ensure they are able to fulfill member requests and expand member relationships.
- Manages and supports sales and service activities. This position is responsible for ensuring goals are achieved as set forth by Senior Management for deposits, loans, Tower Wealth Management referrals and other designated services across all the branches they support.
- Supervises the operation of the branch to ensure efficient and professional service to members. This position is responsible for the overseeing the proper functioning and leadership of the branch.
- Maintains accounting accuracy of the branch through the daily balancing of teller cash drawers, vault, ATM’s, monetary instruments, transaction records and reports. Implements internal auditing procedures, which properly control all items and records held and maintained within the Branch.
- Helps train and develop team members. Responsible for reviewing team member performance on an ongoing basis.
- Provides guidance and uses independent discretion to deal with member needs. Counsels and advises using obtained working knowledge of financial services.
- Responsible for creating employee schedules and ensuring the branch is sufficiently staffed to provide members a high level of service.
- Full knowledge and approval authority (teller and override) for Tower products and services in order to assist subordinates and members to resolve questions/problems and to interpret policy and procedures.
- Assures the security of the branch which includes activating the alarm system and assuring that staff is adequately trained and knowledgeable of emergency procedures. This position implements procedures to ensure security of the branch, its personnel and contents.
- Responsible for directing and coordinating the daily operation of the branch to ensure that multiple time sensitive functions are completed in a time manner. Also ensures that members receive consistently high quality teller, loan, savings and mortgage services.
- Informs staff of new services and organizational goals as they pertain to Branch Operations. Communicates new services and products to staff so that they may respond to member needs.
- Communicates and upholds TFCU policies and procedures. This position is responsible for implementation and control of policies and procedures.
- Advises branch personnel of marketing opportunities, economic and competitive changes and actively pursues opportunities that could positively influence branch operations and growth.
- Participates in projects and action items assigned in furtherance of Tower’s strategic plan as assigned by the Vice President, Branch Administration.
- Advises the District Manager of any inconsistencies in procedures/practices in various branches that need to be corrected.
In addition to the above principal functions, the Floating Branch Manager II position will perform three or more of the following functions as determined by branch:
- Manages and supervises branches that are at separate independent satellite locations and/or overseas.
- Responsible for making independent decisions without the back-up support of headquarters (evenings and weekends). Community branches are open for member service during hours in which there is no operational support at headquarters.
- Utilize their knowledge and experience to solve more complex member issues.
- Manage large number of employees via multiple shifts and effectively staff branches with extended hours of operation.
The Floating Branch Manager II will provide support at the Agency locations:
- Increased awareness of security measures, concerns and operating procedures due to working on the Agency premises.
- Ensuring comprehensive sponsor security requirements are maintained.
- Incumbent must possess Red badge security clearance and Escort badge.
- Service on base ATM’s.
- Promote Tower’s products and services to current and prospective members by way of lobby days and Agency events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Floating Branch Manager II: Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ experience, including at least 3 years in a financial institution Branch Manager role. 8-10 years related experience may be substituted for education.
