HUD Property Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HUD Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a HUD-subsidized property. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HUD regulations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for property management. This position involves tenant relations, compliance oversight, financial management, and maintenance coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Ensure HUD Compliance – Manage tenant certifications, recertifications, and audits in accordance with HUD regulations.
✔ Leasing & Tenant Relations – Oversee leasing activities, resolve tenant concerns, and ensure a positive living environment.
✔ Financial Management – Collect rent, manage budgets, oversee accounts payable, and prepare financial reports.
✔ Property Maintenance – Schedule routine and emergency maintenance, conduct property inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety codes.
✔ Staff Supervision – Lead and train onsite teams, including leasing agents and maintenance personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: 2 years in property management, preferably with HUD/affordable housing.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Property Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)
• Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP)
• Public Housing Manager (PHM)

Software Proficiency: Experience with property management software (Onesite, or similar) and HUD systems (TRACS, EIV).
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evenings as needed
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends & holidays off
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute:

• Pine Bluff, AR 71603 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Pine Bluff, AR 71603: Relocate before starting work (Required)
