Responsibilities

- Conduct utilization reviews to assess the necessity and efficiency of patient care services.
- Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients, particularly in senior care settings.
- Provide training and support to nursing staff on airway management techniques and coding practices.
- Oversee phlebotomy procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Facilitate team management by promoting effective communication and teamwork among nursing staff.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of utilization review systems, including familiarity with Athenahealth software.
- Experience working in senior care environments is preferred.
- Proficient in coding practices related to patient care documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Experience in airway management techniques is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with children is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate medical records.
